Roots — Brand Identity & Logo Design
The brief was simple: a local grocery brand needed a mark that felt American, fresh, and built to last — one that could live on a storefront, a uniform, or a printed surface without losing its character.
The ask
A wordmark that works everywhere — not just on screen
The constraint shaped the solution. With embroidery as a primary application, every design decision had to earn its place: no fine details, no decorative excess — just a mark with enough personality to feel branded and enough clarity to reproduce cleanly at any size.
The solution
Serif confidence. Three colorways. One consistent mark.
A high-contrast serif wordmark — familiar enough to feel grounded, refined enough to feel intentional. Delivered across three uniform colorways, the mark holds equal weight in white, black, and green — embroidered or foil-stamped, it reads as a brand.
